Welcome to the 6th week recap of our master bathroom remodel. This was the week where we felt like we could see the end in sight. Quartz arrived this week and was completed by the end of the week. Glass guy did final measurements and is scheduled to come before the end of next week. My linen cabinet came together and all that is left is the finish coat. Here’s some pics of the progress for the week. I am going to be honest here. This was the first time I ever made a cabinet door with a glass insert. It took me three trips to Lowe’s because I broke…

Week Five of Our Master Bathroom Remodel
Last week in Maui was amazing. Before I left I planned to meet Alex, our countertop guy on the morning of our first day back. He needed to measure and make templates of the area. He’s going to start with the shower pieces first then bring the counters for the sinks and bath. I’ve been working with Alex for about 5 years and he never disappoints. Though four of them did not work for me they might work for you so I thought I’d let you know which five made the running: #1 Anatolia Tile Statuario Polished Porcelain $2.50/s.f. found at Lowe’s. Good balance of subdued and dark veining. Lots of movement and contrast in this tile. Very bold. #2 Style Selections Calacatta White Porcelain Marble Floor and Wall Tile $1.99/s.f. found at Lowe’s. Very realistic to Calacatta marble, has brown tones to some of the veining.…
