    One Room Challenge Week 6: The Reveal

    There was a lot of blood, sweat and tears to get here today. Though I can’t say it was 100% worth it, I can say that I am 100% happy with every outcome and choice we made for CuzinEd – our mobile air bnb. We took our dated rv that had been through 15 years of renting and brought it back to life. Hopefully, he can give us a few more now.     Week 5 ORC

    This week Mike put up the shower walls and was going to install the shower plumbing fixtures when we discovered the shower fixtures we chose were a few inches too tall for the shower area. This set us back a little bit. But luckily Amazon Prime came to the rescue and everything came in the mail today and Mike will be finishing up the shower (hopefully) Friday. Then I can finish the wallpaper. This week I made a lot of progress. I built the framing for around the fireplace, added hardiboard, skim coated, sanded, primed, sanded, and then applied Portola Paint’s Roman Clay in the color Piano Room. And sanded…

    Did I just write that? I feel like I am still recovering from Spring ORC. Yet, here I am. Again. My dad walked into the “constructions site” yesterday and his only comment was, “So the insanity continues?” Yup. But. I digress.
